Welling United can confirm the departures of Sam Jackson, Rob Strachan and Ashley Nzala who have left the club this week. 

Goalkeeper Jackson arrived at Park View Road in January from Braintree Town and was part of the squad which helped the Wings to National League South Survival last term. 

Former Millwall defender Strachan joined the club this summer having previously spent time on loan at Park View Road in the 2020/21 season and has now joined near-neighbours Erith & Belvedere, while striker Nzala also arrived over the summer ahead of the new campaign from Braintree Town. 

All three now leave the Wings for increased playing opportunities elsewhere.
