Heading to Aldershot Town on Tuesday? Here’s everything you need to know about an away day at the EBB Stadium..

THE GROUND
Wings fans will be housed behind the goal in the Community Stand in the south-east corner of the ground where seating is available.

The view from the stand is good with no supporting pillars impeding the view of the pitch, although the stand is shallow, compromising four rows of seating.

WHERE TO DRINK?
The clubhouse at the ground is open to home supporters only. Close to the ground is a Fullers pub called the Royal Staff on Mount Pleasant Road which accepts away fans.

Otherwise, the town offers a number of options, including the Crimea Inn (on the corner of the High Street and Crimea Road).

Further down the hughstreet is a Wetherspoon’s called the Queen Hotel.

If driving into Aldershot along the A323, the White Lion can be found in Lower Farnham Road and is listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. It is around a 15-minute walk from the ground.

WHERE TO EAT
The usual fare is available at the ground from a mobile catering unit including burgers (£4), hot dogs (£3.50) and chips £2).

There are plenty of places to eat in the town centre, including the aforementioned Wetherspoon’s, while the usuals such as Burger King and McDonald’s can be found nearby.

TRAVEL
By rail: Aldershot station is around a 50-minute journey from London Waterloo, with direct connections also made from Woking, Ascot and Guildford.

The stadium is a five-minute walk from the station.

By road: The Recreation Ground is around 65 miles from Park View Road, with the driving time approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

Leave the M3 at Junction 4 and take the A331 towards Farnborough/Aldershot. Continue towards Aldershot passing the North Camp turn off. At the next junction, (Aldershot South) turn right at the roundabout towards Aldershot Town Centre (A323). Keep straight on this road and after going under a railway bridge, the ground is visible on your right

Parking: There is very little parking at the ground itself. There is a nearby pay and display car park which costs £2 for four hours off Ordnance Road (Parsons Barrack Car Park). There are also a number of pay and display car parks dotted around the town centre, alternatively there is street parking available on roads off Redan Road.
