Welling United can confirm the departure of Jay Simpson.

The striker joined the Wings last month, but it has now been mutually agreed to end to his short stay with the club.

Welling boss Warren Feeney said: “I’d like to thank Jay for his time spent with us. He was a model professional, but it unfortunately hasn’t worked out for him here and we’d all like to wish him all the very best.”

Welling United wish to thank Jay for his efforts while at Park View Road and wish him the very best of luck in his future career.
