Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of left-back Aaron Powell on an initial 28-day loan from League One side Peterborough United.

The 20-year-old defender has progressed through the ranks of the Posh academy system having left Norwich City at the age of 15 and signed his first professional contract at London Road in the summer of 2021.

Powell is an attacking full-back who is also adept in the left wing-back role and he becomes the second new arrival of the festive period to boost Warren Feeney’s ranks following the loan signing of Avan Jones from Luton Town last week.
