Welling United are delighted to confirm the return of Dylan Gavin on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old forward enjoyed a five-game stint on loan from the Addicks earlier in the season, before returning to The Valley and then going out on loan once again to Dulwich Hamlet in February.
After representing Hamlet six times, the Irishman returned to Charlton to continue to represent their U21 side and now returns to Park View Road to help the Wings in attack for the last eight games of the season.
Speaking after re-capturing Gavin, Wings boss Warren Feeney said: “Dylan reminds me of myself when I played! He never gives teams an inch. He’s 100 percent every week, he runs, he harasses, he’s good in the air and makes things happen.
“I’m delighted to have him back because he’s a joy to work with. I want to say thank you to Steve Avory at Charlton and Dean Holden, the manager – it’s important for us to have these links with local clubs and it’s going in the right direction.”
Tickets for Saturday’s clash with Bath City at Park View Road have been slashed for Non-League Day!
