Welling United sign off their season at home on Tuesday evening as they host Hampton & Richmond Borough under the lights at Park View Road (7.45pm).

The Wings have enjoyed life on home turf during the run-in, picking up three wins on the spin in DA16 and will be full of confidence following Saturday’s impressive 3-2 victory over champions Ebbsfleet United.

With two games of the season left, Warren Feeney has set the target for his side to finish as strongly as possible and Welling will be looking to send their fans home happy for the final time in 2022/23.

THE OPPOSITION
After a tricky middle period of the season which saw the Beavers go winless for 12 games, they have picked right up in the last couple of months, picking up nine wins from their last 14 games.

They currently lie in 16th place in Vanarama National League South with 15 wins, 14 draws and 17 defeats from their 44 games and sit one point and one place above the Wings.

Hampton & Richmond come into the game off the back of a 2-0 defeat at relegation scrappers Concord Rangers on Saturday.

PRE-MATCH CHAT
Warren Feeney: “It’s an opportunity to give a couple of the other boys a chance on Tuesday. We’ll have to assess what we have on the treatment table.

“The most important thing was to go and do the job [against Ebbsfleet on Saturday] and we’ve done that, so we’ll now focus on Tuesday.”

LAST TIME OUT
The Wings and the Beavers played out a 1-1 draw at the Beveree Stadium in the reverse fixture back in October.
Welling, who were made to wear their hosts’ change strip after travel issues prevented their own kit from making it to the ground for kick-off, went ahead via a Taylor Maloney penalty before Hampton levelled matters with a penalty of their own courtesy of Tommy Block early in the second half.
