Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of full-back Will Wood from Dulwich Hamlet.

Left-back Wood came through the academy at Southampton where he signed his first professional contract in 2015. He moved on to Accrington Stanley in 2018, making six senior appearances for the League One side and embarked on a loan with Havant & Waterlooville before joining Dagenham & Redbridge in 2019. 

After one season in East London, Wood signed for Ebbsfleet United in 2020, featuring regularly before joining Hamlet last summer, securing 34 appearances under his belt last term, scoring three goals. 

The 26-year old becomes the Wings’ first signing of the summer.

Meanwhile, early-bird season tickets for the 2023/24 campaign are now on sale with prices frozen until June 5th ahead of the new season as the club celebrates its 60th anniversary.
