Welling United will host a Luton Town XI in a pre-season friendly this summer, with the newly-christened Premier League outfit heading to Park View Road on Tuesday, August 1st (7pm).

It is the sixth of the Wings’ pre-season fixtures to be confirmed, with the visits of Charlton Athletic and Woking to Park View Road already announced, alongside trips to Cray Wanderers, Hayes & Yeading and Beckenham Town.

The Hatters, who capped off a remarkable rise up the pyramid with promotion to the Premier League for the first time via the play-offs last month, will send a development squad side to Park View Road for the fixture which will be Welling’s final test before the Vanarama National League South season kicks off.

Ticket information for the match will be announced in due course, while supporters should keep an eye on the club’s official channels in the coming days with the Wings’ pre-season scheduled set to be finalised.

Meanwhile, early-bird season tickets for the 2023/24 campaign are now on sale with prices frozen until June 12th ahead of the new season as the club celebrates its 60th anniversary.
