Welling United are delighted to confirm that highly-rated academy duo David Kamara and Ollie Godziemski have committed to the club for the 2023/24 season.
Both youngsters impressed for the Wings as first-year scholars last term and have been registered for the first-team squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
17-year-old forward Kamara led the line for the young Wings, bagging an impressive goal haul on the FA Youth Cup last season and earned a place on the first-team bench in the Wings’ league clash at home to Hungerford Town last October having already made his senior debut in the London Senior Cup victory at Cray Valley (PM) a few days prior.
Godziemski, also 17, also made an impression in front of goal during the Youth Cup campaign last season and made his senior debut as a half-time substitute against Charlton Athletic in the London Senior Cup in April, putting in an eye-catching display to help his side to an equaliser, forcing penalties.
The academy pair join fellow youngsters Ayo Lugboso, Sam Bayford, Donald Macaulay and Jack Church in signing terms to commit to the club for the upcoming season.
