Welling United are delighted to confirm the triple signing of Jack Burchell, TJ Bramble and Kain Adom following successful trials with the club this summer.

20-year-old defender Burchell came through the academy at Watford before joining Eastbourne Borough in October 2022, going on to play 26 times in the Vanarama National League South under Danny Bloor last term.

22-year-old midfielder Bramble began his career in the youth ranks at Gillingham, undergoing loan stints with Deal Town, East Grinstead Town and Sittingbourne, before joining Dover Athletic in 2020, playing 34 times in the National League over two seasons.

An Antigua and Barbuda international, he has earned 10 caps for his country and spent time at Chelmsford City towards the end of last season.

Finally, 22-year-old winger Adom has previously represented Staines Town and Ashford Town and spent an impressive season with Hanwell Town in 2022/23, bagging 12 goals.

All three have played as trialists in the Wings’ pre-season outings so far and have impressed boss Bloor, leaving him eager to secure the trio on a permanent basis.

“Jack Burchell is someone we know well and had at our previous club,” explained Bloor.

“He was very highly thought of at Watford but had an injury. He came in and played nearly 30 games for us last season and he’s a player who will just continue getting better and better.

“TJ Bramble has played games at the level above for Dover. Unfortunately, he’s had a bad time with injuries, but he’s fit now and he’s shown during the time he’s been with us that he can be a real asset.

“Kain Adom looks as though he has all the potential. He hasn’t played at this level before but he’s done well and is very hungry. We’re hoping he’ll succeed and do well for us.”
