Welling United are delighted to announce J Hearnden Skip Hire as the official sponsor of the club’s Park View Road stadium.
Effective immediately and for the remainder of the 2023/24 season, the home of the Wings will officially be known as the J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium with the local company lending its support for the club.
J Hearnden are one of the leading skip hire and waste management specialists in Kent and have a range of skip sizes, providing simple online booking for hire, making them the perfect choice for rubbish clearance and household waste collections.
James Hearnden founded the company in 2006 in Erith and has now expanded into a waste transfer station, with 27 lorries including tippers, RORO, skip lorries and caged transit for all waste clearance needs.
They have heavily invested in grab lorries, recently acquiring Steve Perry Grab Hire to add to part of the J Hearnden group to help ease the stress of customers to coincide with people’s day-to-day projects, including personal usage, making it the perfect one-stop shop for all waste needs.
“We are extremely proud to be supporting Welling United for the season ahead and to have our name attached to such an important hub of the local community,” said James Hearnden.
“The Wings are our local team and we want to help them in whatever way we can. Joining them for a new era under a new manager at the J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium is something we’re really excited for.
“We also want to extend that support to the fans as well and we will be offering them a discount on any skip hire with us as part of that.”
Meanwhile, Welling United Community Officer, Paul Whitehead added: “We’re very pleased to have the support of J Hearnden for the season and I’d like to thank them on behalf of the club.
“It’s the first time the club has secured a stadium sponsorship and it’s something that will go a long way in helping us financially going forward.
“It’s an exciting time for the club, particularly when it comes to our stadium, with the pending redevelopment which we hope will move forwards with pace.
“While we are very proud of the history of Park View Road, we recognise the importance in moving forward, and this sponsorship will play a part in helping us to do that.”
