Welling United are delighted to welcome midfielder Amadou Kassarate back to the J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium.
The 27-year-old proved to be a popular member of the Wings’ squad last season after arriving in DA16 and went on to make 37 league appearances last term.
Previously, Kassarate had helped Cheshunt to promotion to the National League South in what was his third spell with the Hertfordshire club.
A product of Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, he represented Walton Casuals before moving to Scotland with Dumbarton which included a loan spell with Stranraer. He also spent time in Greece with Thesprotos and is a former Senegal U20 international.
“It’s good to be back,” explained Kassarate.
“There have been a lot of changes at Welling since last season and I think it works well for both parties for me to come back, get a deal done and push on from there.”
Meanwhile, Wings boss Danny Bloor added: “Amadou can play in a number of different positions. He’s competitive and is just what we need at the moment.
“He’s a good character and knows the club, so I’m delighted to get him on board.”
