Welling United hit the road for their first of three consecutive away games on Tuesday evening as they head to Farnborough (7.45pm).

The Wings’ impressive form continued at the weekend as they stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with a 2-2 draw with Braintree Town and Rod Stringer will be hoping for another positive result to keep his side above the drop zone.

In terms of team news, Chiori Johnson and TJ Bramble remain sidelined with injury.

THE OPPOSITION

Farnborough currently occupy 14th position in National League South with 11 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats from their 35 games played, so far.

They come into the game without a win in their last four outings having drawn three before suffering a 3-1 home defeat to Yeovil Town on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT

Welling were forced to share a point with Farnborough from a 2-2 at the J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium in October.

After taking the lead through Dominic Odusanya, the Wings were pegged back after the break, but looked to have won it late on when sub TJ Bramble hit the net.

However, the visitors rescued a draw moments later to snatch the points from the hosts thanks to Dan Gifford’s goal at the death.
