Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of winger David Amoo on loan from Ebbsfleet United.

32-year-old Amoo arrives in DA16 with well over 400 games under his belt in the EFL and Scottish Premiership after being snapped up by Liverpool from Millwall at the age of 16.

While at Anfield, he embarked on loan spells with Milton Keynes Dons, Hull City and Bury, before making a permanent move to Preston North End in 2012.

Moves to Tranmere Rovers and Carlisle United followed, prior to a move to Scotland with Partick Thistle, spending two seasons at Firhill Stadium.

A two-year spell with Cambridge United would follow for Amoo before another two seasons with Port Vale culminated in promotion to League One viia the play-offs.

Amoo would then enjoy stints with Stevenage and Crew Alexandra, before joining Ebbsfleet last summer and the pacy wideman now joins Rod Stringer’s squad for the run-in as they look to secure safety in National League South.

He is available for selection for Saturday’s home clash with Weston-super-Mare.
