Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of defender Riccardo Di Trolio on loan from Championship side Coventry City.

The 18-year-old joined the Sky Blues from St Albans City in January 2023 and returned to the National League South club on loan for the remainder of the campaign before linking up with Coventry permanently for the 2023/24 season.

Di Trolio  has represented Coventry’s U21 side this season and embarked on a loan spell with National League North outfit Bishop’s Stortford in December.

He now joins the Wings as Rod Stringer’s latest recruit in his side’s fight against the drop.
