Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of striker David Carty.

The 30-year-old forward has previously represented Havant & Waterlooville and Tooting & Mitcham before heading to Northern Ireland with Institute.

A move to Wales with Bangor City followed for the towering 6ft 4in frontman and he headed to Scotland in 2022, joining Cowdenbeath.

Carty’s journey then took him to Finland, playing for FF Jaro, prior to a move back to Wales with Pontypridd United earlier this year.

He now joins the Wings as Rod Stringer’s latest signing, bolstering his attacking options.
