Welling United return to action under the lights at Park View Road on Tuesday evening as they host Enfield Town in DA16 (7.45pm).

The Wings will be hoping to build on Saturday’s victory at St Albans City – their first win in six in all competitions – as they look to put further distance between themselves and the bottom four.

Rod Stringer’s men currently sit in 20th position, four points above their midweek opponents who occupy 21st.

In terms of team news, Jack Burchell will be hoping to be available after illness ruled him out of the weekend’s trip to St Albans, while Anthony Grant will also be pushing for involvement having also been sidelined.

Teddy Perkins will remain unavailable, as will Harvey Walker and Zain Walker, while Ben Wells is nearing a return to fitness.

Meanwhile, new signing Garrett Kelly will be knocking on the door for his full debut after impressing off the bench at half-time on Saturday.

THE OPPOSITION

Enfield Town are experiencing their first season in National League South after winning promotion from the Isthmian Premier via the play-offs in May by beating Chatham Town 3-0 in the final.

They are still trying to find their feet in the sixth tier of English football with three wins and 10 defeats from their 13 games played, so far.

That leaves them on nine points, fourth from bottom of the table and four points behind the Wings.

They come into the game off the back of a 4-2 home defeat to Aveley on Saturday.

Tickets bought online in advance are priced £16 adults, £11 concessions and students and £8 U18s, while U16s now go FREE.

The new-look Fans Zone marquee will be open for all supporters ahead of kick-off with a variety of alcoholic drinks on offer, including real ale, cider and beer, while the Urban Street Food food truck will be offering a whole host of tasty food options throughout the evening, from burgers and hot dogs, to jerk chicken and chicken chow mein and everything in between.
