Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of goalkeeper Dylan Berry.

The 21-year-old stopper came through the academy ranks of Northampton Town before being snapped up by Norwich City in 2021.

While with the Canaries, Berry secured plenty of non-League experience with loans spells at Hendon, Macclesfield, St Albans City, Havant & Waterlooville and Chelmsford City, representing St Albans in the 2023 National League South promotion final, as well as playing for Chelmsford in last season’s play-offs.

He then joined Ebbsfleet United in the summer, making one league appearance in the National League this term, and now joins the Wings as cover for Rhys Lovett, who picked up an injury in the New Year’s Day defeat at Maidstone United.

Berry is a Northern Ireland youth international having represented his country at U19 and U21 levels.

Meanwhile, in other squad news, Alex Lankshear has returned to parent club Blackpool following the expiration of his loan deal.
