Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Deon Moore.
The 25-year-old emerged through the academy at Peterborough United, making six senior appearances for the Posh as a teenager before a short spell at Merstham.
From there, he returned to the EFL with Bristol Rovers in 2018, representing them twice while embarking on loan spells with Bath City and Billericay Town.
Moore then joined Hemel Hempstead Town in January 2020, prior to a switch to Dulwich Hamlet where he spent two seasons, also spending time on loan with Lewes, Carshalton Athletic and Chelmsford City before returning to Lewes on a permanent basis in the summer of 2022.
He impressed during his time at the Dripping Pan, prompting then-League Two club Sutton United to bring him to Gande Green Lane in January 2024 where he made 12 league appearances.
The Croydon-born forward was snapped up by National League club Woking last summer in a deal until January and he now joins the Wings as Rod Stringer’s second addition to his attacking options this week following the arrival of former Wycombe Wanderers hitman Scott Kashket on Friday.
A full international for Guyana, Moore has represented his country 12 times, scoring five goals.
