Welling United hit the road for their second consecutive away league game as they make the trip to Farnborough on Saturday (3pm).
With nine games to go, the Wings find themselves at the business end of the season embroiled in a battle to beat the drop.
Having dipped into the dropzone despite a battling performance with 10 men against promotion-chasing Truro City last weekend, Rod Stringer will be aiming for all three points as he sets his sight on survival once again.
Dan Martin remains a doubt having sat out of last week’s trip to Cornwall, while Chiori Johnson is also likely to remain sidelines.
Zain Walker, meanwhile, will be hoping to be available again after sickness ruled him out at Truro.
Welling will be without suspended skipper Dave Winfield, however, following his dismissal in Cornwall.
THE OPPOSITION
Farnborough have enjoyed a comfortable season with one eye on the play-off places, although with games running out, it may prove to be a stretch too far to make up the 11-point gap to seventh.
They currently occupy 10th place in Vanarama National League South with 15 wins, eight draws and 15 defeats under their belts.
After a run of five games without defeat, they have been left frustrated by a draw and two losses in their last three outings, most recently losing out 2-0 at home to Boreham Wood on Tuesday evening.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wings secured a thumping victory over Farnborough in their last meeting at Park View Road back in August as they came from behind to secure a 4-1 victory.
After Mason Bloomfield had put the visitors ahead after just four minutes, Welling hit back quickly with Anointed Chukwu, Chiori Johnson and Gene Kennedy firing the hosts into a 3-1 lead with only 22 minutes played, while a 70th-minute own goal put the cherry on top of an excellent afternoon for Rod Stringer and his side.
