Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Tyrese Briscoe.

The 22-year old spent time as a youngster with Arsenal’s academy, before joining Millwall where he represented the Lions’ U18s and U21s.

He joined Hemel Hempstead Town in the summer of 2023 and went on to net twice in 12 National League South appearances for the Tudors, before spending time on loan with Lewes.

Briscoe made a permanent switch to Hasting United last summer and has most recently represented Wingate & Finchley and now joins the Wings as Caretaker Manager Brian Statham looks to bolster his options for the run-in.

Speaking after securing the signature of his newest addition, Statham said: “Tyrese comes in to provide further competition to our attack, having played for Hemel Hempstead at this level previously, he can play across the front which provides the team with further options and enhances the quality we already have.

“He’s 22, has pace, has something to prove and could well be a good addition for next season.”
