After 15 years as Welling United’s Club Photographer, Dave Budden has snapped the Wings in action for the last time having retired from his pitchside position on Saturday.

Since 2010, Dave has provided the matchday imagery which has painted the picture for most of the club’s fixtures home and away during that period, experiencing all of the highs and lows along the way.

Dave has shown great dedication and loyalty, travelling thousands of miles to follow the Wings as a volunteer and has braved all weather conditions to do so – an often unenviable task on those cold and wet midweek winter nights!

The club will be forever grateful for all of his hard work over the years and he was the recipient of a special presentation prior to Saturday’s fixture against Hornchurch at Park View Road which saw him receive a number of gifts, including a lifetime season ticket.
