Cameron Andrews got off to a flying start to his loan spell at Phoenix Sports, netting on his debut.

The 21-year-old academy graduate opened the scoring with an excellent volley into the bottom corner in Phoenix’s trip to Burgess Hill on March 29th, but his side were denied victory with the hosts snatching the points thanks to goals in the 88th and 90th minutes.

Andrews started again as Phoenix made the journey to Beckenham Town on April 1st, but could not prevent a 1-0 defeat for his loan side, and he would make his third appearance from the start in another clash with Beckenham on Saturday, this time at home, again suffering a 1-0 loss.

The youngster will hope to start again as Phoenix host Sevenoaks Town on Saturday as they continue their fight against the drop in the Isthmian League South East Division.
