Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of goalkeeper Freddie Norman.
The 18-year-old stopper joins the Wings following a successful trial period having impressed during his time with the squad throughout the summer, including an eye-catching display in Tuesday’s 1-0 pre-season victory at Herne Bay.
Norman previously represented Leyton Orient having spent seven years with the East London club after signing for them at the age of 11.
Following his release from the O’s, he now joins Lee Martin’s squad ahead of the 2025/26, providing competition for fellow custodian Slavomir Huk.
Meanwhile, the club can confirm the departure of goalkeeper Jack West-Astuti and would like to wish him all the very best in his future career.
