Welling United head to Carshalton Athletic on Saturday afternoon (3pm) as they look to bounce back from the midweek defeat with 10 men.

The Wings will be looking to summon up the spirit of the performance over Canvey Island which earned them all three points from a 4-1 victory last weekend, but they are likely to be without Bright Siaw and TQ Addy who have been nursing injuries, while Scott Simmons will miss out through suspension.

Ruben Shakpoke will be available despite his midweek dismissal with with his potential suspension kicking in on Tuesday, pending the result of an appeal which has been lodged by the club.

Meanwhile, new arrival Femi Akinwande could be in line to make his full Welling debut after coming off the bench on Tuesday evening.
