Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of left-back Cory Adjetey-Brew on loan from Championship club Queens Park Rangers.
The 17-year old had previously spent time in Arsenal’s academy before heading to Loftus Road ahead of the 2024/25 season, winning plaudits for his performances for the R’s U18s and U21s sides last term.
He now joins the Wings on a ‘work experience’ loan initially until September 30th for his first taste of senior football.
Welling boss Lee Martin said: “Cory comes in to fill that left-back position that we’ve been looking for and gives us some balance.
“James Dyer has done a brilliant job filling in that position, but we require him in a more central role.
“QPR have been brilliant in letting us have him, so we’d like to thank them. He’s exciting, he’s athletic and I’m really excited to see how he develops.”
