Attention turns to the Isuzu FA Trophy for Welling United this weekend as they head to Royston Town in the third qualifying round on Saturday (3pm).
The Wings will be looking for the cup competition to provide a welcome distraction after a difficult couple of weeks of league action as they dust themselves down and go again under interim manager Paul Barnes.
In terms of team news, Scott Simmons will be available again having served his suspension, while Tom Leahy is nearing a return to action as he recovers from injury.
Meanwhile, Greg Cundle will be pushing for a start after returning to the bench on Tuesday evening.
THE OPPOSITION
Royston ply their trade in the Southern League Premier Division Central, step three of the non-league pyramid.
They currently lie second bottom of the league table having won one, drawn three and lost four of their eight games played, so far and come into the cup tie off the back of a 5-1 FA Cup defeat at home to King’s Lynn last weekend.
