Welling United face their ninth consecutive away game as they head to Princes Park for a derby-day clash with Dartford on Saturday (3pm).

The Wings will be looking to get back to winning ways following back-to-back defeats in the league and FA Trophy over the last couple of weeks as interim boss Rod Stringer looks to push his side up the Isthmian League Premier Division table.

Greg Cundle will remain unavailable with a shoulder injury, while Luke Allen and Jack Thomas will be available again having missed last weekend’s FA Trophy tie due to being cup-tied.

THE OPPOSITION

The Darts are enjoying a rich run of form in the league as they come into Saturday’s game off the back of a 10-game unbeaten run, with defeats in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy sandwiched in between.

They currently sit in fifth position in the Isthmian League Premier Division table having won five, drawn six  and lost two of their 13 games played, so far.

Dartford have enjoyed victories in each of their last three outings, most recently beating Cray Wanderers 2-0 away from home on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT

The sides have not met since December 2023 when Welling ended the year with a hard-fought point at Dartford thanks an own-goal deep into injury-time.

The Darts thought they had won it after taking the lead midway through the first-half, but when Ike Orji saw his cross come off the boot of a Darts defender in the sixth minute of injury time, it ensured a share of the spoils.
