Welling United return to league action with a trip to Ramsgate on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

The Wings’ mammoth run of away games continues with a fifth consecutive road trip against the Rams, with interim boss Rod Stringer taking charge of his first league game for the club since his departure in March.

TQ Addy remains an injury concern, while Jack Paxman will serve a one-game suspension having amassed five cautions.

THE OPPOSITION

Ramsgate sit in 9th position in the Isthmian League Premier Division table with three wins, five draws and three defeats from their 11 fames played, so far.

They come into the game off the back of a 1-1 home draw with Wingate & Finchley on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT

Welling United suffered A 4-1 defeat to Ramsgate in the reverse fixture at Park View Road last month.

It was a game which was ultimately spoiled by some extremely questionable decision making from the officials, resulting in the home side being reduced to 10 men before the half-hour mark in hugely controversial circumstances, giving them an uphill battle for the remainder of the night.
