Welling United are delighted to confirm the return of striker Josh Redfearn.
The 24-year old originally joined the Wings in October 2024 and went on to score seven goals in 28 National League South appearances last term. He also scored the only goal as Welling beat Ebbsfleet United 1-0 to lift the Kent Senior Cup at Priestfield Stadium in April.
Piror to his arrival in London, Redfearn had been forging a career in New Zealand, representing Onehunga Sports and Waitakere United as a youngster before signing for Auckland United in 2020.
The London-born forward caught the eye while with Auckland during a prolific spell, scoring 43 goals in 91 appearances, prompting Australian second-tier club Glenorchy Knights to bring him to Tasmania.
His move to England with the Wings followed and, following his departure at the end of last season, he joined Maidstone United in the summer, making eight appearances for the Stones and scoring in their 3-3 draw at Worthing in August.
He now returns to Park View Road to bolster the Wings’ attacking options.
