Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of winger Troy Howard from Billericay Town.

The pacy 23-year old began his career with Deal Town, before moving on to Margate in 2022.

Following a spell with Hythe Town, Howard was brought to Sittingbourne by then-Brickies boss Ryan Maxwell in the summer of 2024 and went on to play an instrumental part in their successful season last term, scoring 15 goals and gaining 16 assists to help Sittingbourne to the Isthmian League South East play-off final as well as an impressive run to the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy.

His eye-catching performances earned him a move to Billericay Town this summer, before he rejoined Sittinbourne on loan in October.

With Maxwell now at the helm in DA16, he has made the move to bring Howard to Park View Road as part of his Wings squad rebuild.
