Welling United make the short journey to Princes Park for the derby clash with Dartford on Tuesday evening (7.45pm). 

The fixture against the Darts, re-arranged from its original date due to the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II in September, will see the two local rivals battle it out under the lights with both bragging rights and three vital points up for grabs. 

Warren Feeney’s Wings will be looking to build on their victory over Hungerford Town at the weekend and hope to break back into the play-off places as they sit one place and two points off of seventh, but will be without striker Stefan Payne, who sits out the second of his two-match ban, although James Dunne will be available again, as will Amadou Kassarate, who will begin his three-match suspension next week.

THE OPPOSITION
After a slow start to the campaign under new boss Alan Dowson, the Darts have picked up in some style to thrust themselves into second place in Vanarama National League South following a nine-game unbeaten run, picking up eight wins along the way. 

From their 16 games, so far, they have won 11, drawn once and lost four and there will be expectations to once again be in the mix for a promotion push come May after failing in the play-offs last term.

Warren Feeney: “Yes, it’s a derby game, but for me it’s just another game of football. 

“I don’t care who we play against, no disrespect to any other team, but we fear no one. 

“We’ve got to make sure we take confidence from the win on Saturday and give the fans something to cheer about.”

Dartford boss Alan Dowson: “They’ve spent heavily in the summer and have a decent team on paper and we do as well. We’re looking forward to the game, it’s a derby and that’s what we’re here for. We’re in a good position going into the game.”
