Warren Feeney insists that his side has put last week’s disappointment behind them as they look forward to Tuesday’s clash with Slough Town at Park View Road.
The Wings were left wounded by the derby-day defeat at Dartford seven days ago, but have been working hard on the training pitch since, taking advantage of the game-less Saturday to work through the weekend in preparation for the visit of the Rebels.
“We were all hurting after last week,” Feeney explained.
“The important thing now is to move on and put it behind us.
“We’ve had a good, hard few days on the training ground. With no game at the weekend, we’ve had some very physical sessions and the lads have reacted well. The joys of football are that there’s always another game around the corner and we have the chance to put things right on Tuesday.”
He added: “We had a good result last time at home against Hungerford and the fans have been great all season, so we have to make sure we do it again on Tuesday.”
