An army of Welling United supporters and staff were on hand to give up their time to help begin work on the south terrace at Park View Road on Thursday.

The team of hardy volunteers gave up their time to help begin work on making repairs to the crumbling terraces at the park end of the stadium which have seen that area of the ground closed in recent months due to safety reasons.

The works over the coming weeks will ensure that the terrace can be re-open this season with a view for more extensive work to take place in the future.

The club would like to thank all of those who gave up their time to help on Thursday.
