Welling United will begin their season with a trip to Truro City on Saturday, August 5th (3pm).

The Wings’ 2023/24 Vanarama National League season has been mapped out after the release of the fixtures on Wednesday afternoon and the Danny Bloor era will official kick off against the White Tigers at Bolitho Park in Plymouth.

Seven days later, Welling will begin their home campaign with a clash against Hemel Hempstead Town at Park View Road on Saturday, August 12th and that is swiftly followed by the visit of Chelmsford City to DA16 on Tuesday, August 16th.

Meanwhile, Bloor’s Wings have been paired with Dartford for the festive period, hosting the Darts at Park View Road on Boxing Day (Tuesday, December 26th), before making the short journey to Princes Park on New Year’s Day (Monday, January 1st).

Two days before Christmas, the Wings will journey to Twerton Park to take on Bath City on Saturday, December 23rd.

Other fixtures to look out for are trips to new grounds in the form of newly-promoted Aveley on Saturday, October 14th and Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, December 2nd, while the journeys to relegated Torquay United and Yeovil Town await on Saturday, October 21st and Saturday, March 9th respectively.

Also relegated from the National League, Maidstone United provide another local clash for the Wings this term with the first meeting taking place at Park View Road on Tuesday, October 24th, before the reverse fixture at the Gallagher Stadium on Easter Monday (Monday, April 1st).

Finally, Welling’s regular season will come to an end at Slough Town on Saturday, April 20th.
