Welling United host Hemel Hempstead Town in their first home game of the season on Saturday (3pm) as the Wings look to kick-start their campaign.
Danny Bloor will be expecting a reaction from his side following the opening-day disappointment at Truro City last weekend and they have the opportunity to do so in front of the home crowd at the newly-christened J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium.
Welling will have to check on the fitness of a number of players who have picked up early-season complaints, including skipper Mitchell Dickenson and Crossley Lema, who were both forced off last Saturday, while Lewis White, Kain Adom and Enoch Muwonge will be racing to get fit for their first appearances of the campaign.
THE OPPOSITION
The Tudors made a flying start to their season last weekend when they put one of the promotion favourites to the sword.
Joe Iaciofano’s 78th-minute strike proved to be the only goal of the game at Vauxhall Road as Hemel defeat newly-relegated Yeovil Town 1-0.
There will, of course, be a familiar face in the opposition dugout with former Wings boss Bradley Quinton now at the helm for Hemel, while former Welling forward Alfie Matthews could well be involved against his old side.
Last season saw the Tudors secure a mid-table finish of 15th, one place above the Wings with 15 wins, 15 draws and 16 defeats to their name.

Danny Bloor: “Last week is behind us so it’s onwards and upwards. We’ve drawn a line under it and we’re looking forward to this game.
“Hemel are a good side. They recruited very well in the summer, so we know it will be a tough game, but we’re up for the challenge.
“I’m asking the fans to get behind us on Saturday. Whatever team we select, and the subs, they will give their best for this football club.”
TICKETS
Tickets for the clash against Hemel Hempstead Town are available to purchase online in advance and will also be available for cash and card at the turnstiles on the day of the match priced £15 adults, £10 concessions and students and £5 U16s, while U11s go free with an accompanying adult.
The club are also offering a four for £20 special family ticket discount for the game with two adults and two children able to gain entry to the game for just £20, making a potential saving of up to £26.

Turnstiles will open at 12.30pm with the Wings Bar and upstairs bar open for all supporters, as well as the marquee bar which will be serving Madri for card sales only.
Supporters will be able to take in Arsenal v Nottingham Forest live on TNT Sports on the screens around the bars.
Hot food will be available from the burger outlet on the right-hand side as you enter the ground, as well as from a second unit which will be serving jerk chicken dishes.
Meanwhile, the Travis Perkins bar will be open for teas, coffees, cold drinks, snacks and pies.
PROGRAMMES
The first official matchday programme of the new season will be available from the programme hut as you enter the ground with copies also available from the Wings bar.
