Welling United round off 2023 with a trip down the A2 to take on Dartford at Princes Park on Saturday (3pm).
The Wings will be looking to avenge the Boxing Day defeat to the Darts which saw Richard Chin score the only goal of the game to claim the local bragging rights for Alan Dowson’s side.
Danny Bloor’s men will continue to be without defensive duo Mitchell Dickenson and Jack Burchell, while Will Wood and Lewis White will continue to be injury doubts.
THE OPPOSITION
Dartford currently occupy 13th position in Vanarama National League South with nine wins, five draws and 10 defeats from their 24 games played, so far.
They have secured two wins in their last seven outings in all competitions, losing four and drawing one along the way, with their most recent game, of course, coming in the form of a 1-0 victory over Welling on Tuesday lunchtime.

Danny Bloor: “The beauty of sport is that we have the opportunity to have another go on Saturday. We don’t have to wait a long time to play our rivals again and that was the only consolation [on Boxing Day].
“We were all disappointed, but now we have the chance to go try and remedy it.”
Dartford assistant boss, Martin Tyler: “We could hear Danny Bloor venting his spleen at his players in the dressing room [on Boxing Day], so we know they’ll be motivated to come and play us again on Saturday.
“The best way for them to bounce back is to come and reverse the result, so we’ve got to be ready for that.”

Dartford claimed bragging rights on Boxing Day thanks to Richard Chin’s second-half strike to earn a 1-0 victory.
Meanwhile, the Wings have already met the Darts at Princes Park in the Emirates FA Cup back in September, with Welling coming out on top of an entertaining five-goal thriller thanks to Antony Papadopoulos’ hat-trick in a 3-2 win.

Supporters can watch the game via a live stream on National League TV.
This season, for the first time, all National League South games not subject to UEFA Article 48 regulation will be streamed exclusively live on National League TV – this means all midweek and any other non-Saturday 3pm games will be permitted on the platform.
In addition, a relaxation of restrictions over the festive and new year period will mean that all games played between Sunday, December 24th and Friday, January 12th will be streamed on National League TV both domestically and internationally.
