Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Reece Grant.
The 29-year old began his career with Weladstone, before making his name in a prolific spell with Heybridge Swifts and earning a move to Braintree Town in 2017.
A part of the Essex side’s promotion-winning side of 2018, he then enjoyed spells in the National League with Aldershot and Dagenham & Redbridge before a move back to the National League South with Ebbsfleet United in 2020.
Moves to Maidstone United and Dover Athletic followed, prior to a switch to Chelmsford City and a move to Hemel Hempstead Town where he has played his football since last March.
From a footballing family, Grant’s younger brother Karlan is a product of Charlton Athletic’s academy and currently plies his trade in the Championship with Cardiff City.
He now joins the Wings to boost Rod Stringer’s attacking options as his side continues their fight for survival and could make his debut against Tonbridge Angels in DA16 on Saturday afternoon.
