Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of midfielder Gene Kennedy on loan from Colchester United.

The 20-year-old midfielder has made 12 first-team appearances for the League Two side, including six league outings and now joins Rod Stringer’s Wings to shore up the midfield, penning a loan deal for an initial month.

He will be available to make his debut in Saturday’s meeting with Tonbridge Angels at the J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium.
