Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of right-back Myles Judd.
The 25-year old is a product of Leyton Orient’s academy, emerging through the ranks at Brisbane Road and going on to make 66 senior appearance for the O’s, playing his part towards their return to the EFL by winning the National League title in 2019.
Judd was also named as the EFL’s League Two Apprentice of the Year in 2017.
During his time with Orient, he embarked on loans with Hastings United (2016) and Barnet (2021), before making a permanent move to Dover Athletic in 2022.
An 18-month stay at Crabble led to Judd joining Hemel Hempstead Town last term and he now arrives at Park View Road as Rod Stringer continues to build his squad for 2024/25.
Speaking after putting pen to paper for the Wings, Judd said: “I’m a right-back, so I like to get forward and get crosses in and I don’t mind putting a challenge in!
“The gaffer is definitely the sort of manager I want to play with. He’s honest and says it how it is which is the sort of manager I definitely want to play with.
“I’ve played with Reece Grant at Dover and Hemel before. I spoke with Granty and he said he’s the sort of manager I would get on with.”
