Assistant Manager Kevin Watson arrived at Park View Road alongside Rod Stringer in January 2024, playing a key part in the Wings’ extraordinary run of form which saw them turn their season around, securing safety with just two defeats from their 18 remaining games.

A midfielder in his playing days, Watson came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and represented the likes of Brentford, Bristol City, Barnet, Swindon Town, Rotherham United, Reading, Colchester United and Luton Town with four career promotions under his belt in the Football League.

His touchline career has seen him take charge of Maldon & Tiptree, Bishop’s Stortford, Ebbsfleet United and Billericay Town, while taking assistant roles at Stevenage, Eastleigh, Whitehawk and Hungerford Town.
