Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Joshua Redfearn.

The 23-year-old striker has been forging a career in New Zealand, representing Onehunga Sports and Waitakere United as a youngster before signing for Auckland United in 2020.

London-born Redfearn caught the eye while with Auckland during a prolific spell, scoring 43 goals in 91 appearances, prompting Australian second-tier club Glenorchy Knights to bring him to Tasmania in January.

He now arrives at Park View Road as Rod Stringer’s latest signing to boost his attacking options.

Redfearn will be available to make his Wings debut in Tuesday evening’s meeting with Enfield Town in DA16.
