Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Theo Alexandrou on loan from Dorking Wanderers.

The 19-year old is a product of Stevenage’s academy, making his full senior debut for Boro in a Carabao Cup clash with Exeter City in August 2023, before making one further first-team outing against AFC Wimbledon on the EFL Trophy.

While at the Lamex Stadium, Alexandrou embarked on loan stints with Cambridge City, Potters Bar Town, Cheshunt and St Ives Town, joining St Ives permanantly in June.

His performances attracted the interest of Dorking who brought him to Meadowbank Stadium in September and he has made 11 Vanarama National League South appearances since, netting twice, including a spectacular strike against Welling in October.

He now joins the Wings on an initial loan deal until January 31st.
