Welling United can confirm the departure of Elliot Long, who has joined Billericay Town on a permanent transfer.

The midfielder arrived at Park View Road last summer and went on to make 18 league appearances for the Wings, scoring once.

He made an initial loan switch to Billericay in January and now makes the move permanent for an undisclosed fee.

The club would like to thank Elliot for his efforts while at Welling and wish him all the very best in his future career.
