Wings goalkeeper Rhys Lovett enjoyed a clean sweep of seasonal awards as he was named Supporters’, Manager’s and Players’ Player of the Year for the 2024/25 campaign.
The stopper has impressed between the sticks for Welling in what has been an otherwise difficult season and his performances have been rewarded with recognition from fans, staff and teammates alike.

Lovett was presented with his awards ahead of the final-day draw with Salisbury at Park View Road on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Gene Kennedy received an award as the club’s top scorer for the campaign after the midfielder found the net eight times in the National League South.

Elsewhere, supporter Brian Coates was presented with the Eric Brackstone Volunteer of the Year award in recognition of his continued hard work, selflessly giving up his time to help clear and tidy the stadium and offering a helping hand wherever possible.
