After an incredible 15-year stint behind the lens, much-loved club photographer Dave Budden has officially hung up his camera, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable images that have captured the spirit and story of Welling United.

Now, as we look ahead to the 2025/26 season, the club is on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated new Club Photographer to carry the torch and become part of the matchday team.

This is a volunteer position and a fantastic opportunity for budding sports photographers, particularly students looking to gain experience, sharpen their skills and build a professional portfolio in a dynamic and exciting environment.

The Club Photographer will be on hand to capture matchday photo coverage for home fixtures at Park View Road, as well as any away fixtures where possible.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your portfolio in a real-world setting, this is your chance to get pitchside access and contribute directly to the visual story of an exciting new era for the Wings under new boss Lee Martin.
