• Wings will host Folkestone in third round of Velocity Cup
• Date set for rearranged league clash with Invicta

Welling United will host Folkestone Invicta in the third round of the Velocity Cup.

The Wings enter the Isthmian league cup competition for first time and enter at the third round stage where they will take on Folkestone at Park View Road in a tie which is set to take place by mid-November.

A date for the game will be announced once confirmed.

Meanwhile, Welling’s league meeting with Folkestone at Park View Road has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th (7.45pm).

The Wings were due to take on Invicta in DA16 on Saturday, October 11th, but Folkestone’s progression in the Emirates FA Cup meant that the fixture would have to be rearranged.
