The 28-year-old has represented a number of non-League clubs since beginning his senior career with Waltham Abbey, turning out for the likes of Hungerford Town, Romford and Aveley, before making a move abroad to Greece with Nafpaktiakos in 2018.
While in Greece, he also played for Agios Nikolaos, AO Episkopi and Almyros Gaziou, before returning to the UK with Connah’s Quay Nomads in the Welsh Premier Division in 2021.
From there, spells with Chippenham Town, Leatherhead and Heybridge Swifts followed before making a return to Aveley for a second spell in 2022.
He found success with the Essex-based club, winning back-to-back promotions into the National League South and helping the newly-promoted side into the play-offs last term, making 46 appearances in each of the last two campaigns.
In total, he represented Aveley on 113 occasions, scoring seven goals.
Kelly made the switch to AFC Totton this summer and now joins the Wings as Rod Stringer’s latest arrival to bolster his options in the middle of the park.
