18-year-old, versatile defender Church starred for the Wings during their FA Youth Cup run in 2022/23 and made his senior debut in the London Senior Cup clash with Charlton Athletic in April 2023 as a youthful Welling side pushed the Addicks all the way to penalties.

He also played a key part in the U23s’ successful inaugural season in 2022/23.
