The 35-year-old centre-back was a key part of Maidstone United’s National League South title-winning side in 2022 and was named as the Stones Player of the Year.
After two-and-a-half seasons at the Gallagher Stadium in which he made 53 appearances, Ellul left Maidstone last January due to work commitments and has since represented Sittingbourne and Ramsgate.
His previous career has also seen him marshal the defence at East Thurrock, Billericay Town, Braintree Town and Maidenhead United, as well as a spell in New Zealand with Tasman United.
Ellul now arrives at the J Hearnden Skip Hire Community Stadium to provide some vital experience to Danny Bloor’s back line.
